NSWOC
Nurse Specialized in Wound Ostomy and Continence lead clinic
A Nurse Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence (NSWOC) is a registered nurse with advanced training in wound, ostomy, and continence care. Educated through a WCET-accredited program and certified by the Canadian Nurses Association (CNA), NSWOCs are the only nurses in Canada with national certification in this specialty.
Purchasing your ostomy supplies through an NSWOC ensures that your products are tailored to your specific medical and lifestyle needs. Because NSWOCs assess fit, skin health, and product compatibility, they can recommend the most suitable solutions and adjust your orders as your needs change—helping to prevent complications, improve comfort, and ensure you receive the highest level of professional care.
